Up to this point, the format of the essay has been pretty simple, but as you begin to write your body paragraphs, you will need to choose how you want to portray your information. You can choose to use one paragraph to describe similarity and or difference. Using this format you can end up with five or six body paragraphs depending on how many similarities and differences you are comparing. Or you can use one paragraph to write about all the similarities, and another paragraph to write about all the differences between the two topics, and then use one paragraph to do your comparison. Using this format you generally will end up with three body paragraphs, but each paragraph may be quite lengthy.

A college admission essay is your key to the rest of your future. Its may not seem important when you are young, but as times passes the importance of a great college essay becomes clear. Use all the tools listed above to make sure you have an essay that will really stand out. This will help you to not only gain admission to the college of your dreams but will also put you on the right path for the rest of your life.
It is very important at the outset to develop your admission essay writing plan and then write your essay according to this plan. Your writing should demonstrate your ability to think clearly and express ideas properly while at the same time the essay should reveal your scholarly side. The admission essay should clearly articulate your motivation for attending the college or graduate school and how you will benefit from the course. Your essay also needs to state what the institute will gain by accepting you as a student - many applicants forget this aspect.
The first stage is to formulate your topic clearly in your own mind, so that you understand the question which your essay sets out to answer. You can only fully research the issues involved if you have a complete understanding of the subject. Next, write a detailed outline of your essay, filling out its structure as you go, making sure that no important ideas have been omitted. Then it is time for the first draft.
The introduction and conclusion paragraphs are the most important part of personal essay examples. Most admissions officers, or hiring representatives only have a few minutes to read each essay, so you want to grab their attention right away in your introduction paragraph. And the last thing they will read is your conclusion paragraph; so you want to make sure you restate any important facts that you have previously stated within your essay, especially include your thesis statement on both paragraphs.
The content of the essay should have the basic parts: the introduction, body and conclusion (in simpler sense, the beginning, middle and end). Unless instructed, a thesis statement should end the beginning of the essay. The thesis statement is essential for college essays. It is a declaration of what the essay is all about. As an example: ”Since the increase of population in Brooklyn, more people in New York are complaining of overcrowding in the subway than ever before.” To edit the thesis statement, you should check its consistency with the over-all discussion in the essay and it should have appropriate and accurate citations.
