Traffic restrictions imposed for a week in Jubilee Hills to ease traffic

In view of the heavy flow of vehicles on Road No 45 and surrounding roads of Jubilee Hills which is causing traffic congestion and to facilitate the movement of traffic on Jubilee Hills, the Hyderabad Police have announced traffic diversions from Friday for a week on a trial basis. .

Traffic coming from Jubilee Hills checkpoint and intending to go to Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge should continue straight on road #36 and it is recommended to turn left at Metro Rail Pillar 1650 Road # #54 Jubilee Hills-Road #45 after Heart Cup Coffee and turn right towards the cable bridge or turn left onto Croma Road No39 Jubilee Hills, then turn left onto Magnolia Bakery, turn onto U at the Zozoz Pizzeria restaurant towards the cable bridge.

Traffic coming from the Jubilee Hills checkpoint and intending to go towards Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge will not be allowed to turn right at Road No 45 junction or Journalist Colony junction. Traffic coming under the cable bridge from the Inorbit Mall side and intending to go towards the Jubilee Hills checkpoint will not be allowed until the junction of Road No 45 and should turn left onto Road 54 and make a U-turn at the Freedom Park Metro Rail pillar No. 1663 at Road No 36 and continue towards the checkpoint.

Traffic from the Filmnagar/CVR News junction to the Jubilee Hills checkpoint will not be allowed; turn left at the Road No 45 junction and continue towards Heart Cup, make a U-turn under the cable bridge and head towards the checkpoint. Traffic coming from under the cable bridge and intending to go to BNR Hills, Khajaguda should make a U-turn at Heart Cup and Geeta Arts, turn left onto Road No 51 and continue towards Pakshi circle, then to Nyaya Vihar and reach Filmnagar junction. Traffic coming from Banjara Hills Road #12 is advised to turn right at Orissa Island/Kalinga Bhavan and proceed towards the checkpoint via Cancer Hospital, KBR Park Junction and avoid road #12. 45. Traffic coming from Road No.12 Banjara Hills-Filmnagar Junction will not need to turn left at the junction, U-turn at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan towards Journalist Colony. Traffic coming from Filmnagar will not be allowed to turn right at the junction, but should turn left onto Filmnagar Road-CVR News junction-Filmnagar junction onto No.12 Banjara Hills Road.

This is a week-long test with the aim of decongesting the Filmnagar Junction-Road No 45 Hunction-Jubilee Hills checkpoint corridor by using available parallel roads. The inconvenience is regretted and travelers are requested to cooperate in this test, said Joint CP (Traffic) AV Ranganath.
