Despite baking its UFO Buns for over 30 years, it has surprisingly only gained popularity in the last few years. How its popularity grew was that Mazda (yes, the car brand) started ordering the buns for its events which soon became a hit. This resulted in large group purchases for the UFO Buns and they have remained a popular item on Bread Story to this day.

Resembling a taco, the UFO Chicken Floss ($1.30) comes with a chiffon-like floss with a generous amount of floss and homemade mayonnaise filled in the middle. The cake is light, fluffy, and moist, with a nice amount of sweetness that goes perfectly with the flavor of the floss.

Chicken floss has a nice bite and doesn’t clump, allowing them to spread evenly with each bite. For those who aren’t big fans of mayonnaise, you’ll be happy to know that there isn’t an overwhelming amount of it, and it also gives it a subtle tartness to enhance the flavors.

If you want a little heat, UFO Spicy Floss ($1.30) is the one! Similar to the original, the spicy floss, however, adds a nice hint of heat, but note that the floss flavor is less prominent due to the spice. Unique, affordable and tasty, what more could you ask for? If you like sweet and savory buns, this is definitely one to try. Hurry today!
