THE VIEW host Joy Behar has come under fire from fans for taking a “vicious” jab at Khloe Kardashian’s appearance in a new interview.
She told him that she was pretty, but a “different pretty”.
In 2011, Joy had her own talk show on HLN called The Joy Behar Show.
He welcomed Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian to the show and mainly talked about his love life and family.
Joy talked a lot about Kim’s marriage to Kris Humphries and how she wanted to change her last name.
Midway through the interview, Joy came out with a cruel comment that caused Khloe to question her.
“I was saying during the commercial that you don’t look like your sisters. They look alike,” Joy said.
“Are you sure they have the same parents?”
Khloe followed up on the joke, saying, “Absolutely not. I don’t know. I don’t think it’s completely related to these people, but we’ll take it.”
“I like the brand, so let’s keep it up. This empire is pretty cool.”

Joy then hit Khloe deeper, saying, “I mean, they’re all cute in a different way. You’re more like Kim,” she pointed at Kourtney.
“Yeah. He looks like me because I’m a little older,” Kourtney said.
But, Khloe couldn’t let the host get away with his comment.
“What does that mean to me? Do I look like a dog?” she asked.
“No, you’re pretty, but you look different pretty,” Joy told her.
Khloe laughed out loud and Kourtney giggled awkwardly.
Khloe then quipped, “Talking like a real mom.”
Joy then quickly moved on to the next topic, but the sisters’ body language gave away how uncomfortable they were.
Fans on Reddit dug up the video and posted it on the platform to say how “cruel” it was for Joy to say that.
“D**n this video is so sad. I’ve never seen this before,” the original poster wrote.
“The way that Kourtney doesn’t know how to react and then starts laughing with Khloe so it’s not awkward. And Khloe saying ‘you sound like a real mom’ just speaks to the fact that she grew up hearing Kris tell her that she wasn’t as pretty as her sisters. Heartbreaking,” one user commented.
A Kardashian fan responded to them, saying: “The way Khloe expected it and tried to get ahead of it too. Heartbreaking.”
Another hit Joy and said, “I wish the hostess would stop there. She’s pretty. That’s all. No need to compare her to her sisters. She’s pretty in her own way, yes, but the hostess meant that as in ‘You’re not that pretty, but I don’t want to call you ugly on live TV, so here’s this backhanded compliment.'”
“Did you realize how shelled out these talk show hosts were with the younger actresses, singers and TV personalities back then?” asked a Reddit user.
One fan felt bad for her, writing: “Wow. That’s one of the most brutal things I’ve ever seen. As her sister, I would have stood up for her.”
“Joy Behar doesn’t have to rate how attractive someone is,” said another.
“That’s cruel,” one fan simply wrote.
“Joy is such an evil person,” said one angry Kardashian fan.
2022 was the year that Khloe decided to work on herself, mentally and physically.
She debuted a dramatic weight loss this year, which has some fans worried she’s gone too far.
After giving birth to daughter True Thompson in 2018, the reality star turned her back to eating healthy and exercising.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star started a low-carb, high-exercise post-baby meal plan and ended up losing more than 60 pounds.
“I am currently on a low carb diet that was given to me by my nutritionist,” the mom shared in the past. “It has a lot of protein, so I can do everything I can in the gym, but the best part is that I am never hungry because I am always eating.”
Your personal nutritionist recommends a diet of green leafy vegetables, single-ingredient starches, lean red meat, fresh fruit, oily fish, eggs, poultry, nuts, and water to stay healthy.
Khloe’s day reportedly starts with a simple dollop of jam and a dollop of almond butter to provide a boost before morning workouts.
After sweating a lot, he indulges in two eggs, a cup of oatmeal, and a cup of berries or other fresh fruit.
By mid-morning, it’s another piece of seasonal fruit, perhaps with a handful of almonds.
Lunch brings 4 ounces of chicken breast with vegetables and high-iron salad (such as beets and spinach)
Healthy greens like celery and tomatoes make an afternoon snack, and dinner consists of a variety of fatty fish served with 8 ounces of greens and salad.
Khloe is super dedicated to her diet and doesn’t allow herself a full cheat day, just one cheat meal every week.
This could be a pizza, a piece of cake for dessert, or a pasta dinner, depending on your cravings.
If she does drink alcohol, Khloe will limit herself to one or two glasses, while she never eats carbs after 3 p.m.
She also combines all of that with an intense training regimen.
