STATEN ISLAND, NY — Art Lab, Noble Maritime Collection, Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden, and Staten Island Museum will collaborate on a Holiday Hop. The sprawling event has a strong edible component and is a premium annual event, this year featuring more than 100 Staten Island-based food artisans and artists.
Snug’s campus-wide event takes place on Saturday, December 3 from 11 am to 4 pm The Holiday Hop is a free craft market at five locations on the 83-acre grounds at 1000 Richmond Terrace, Livingston.
“Snug Harbor is proud to be the one stop destination for your holiday shopping list this year,” the CEOs of the partner organizations said in a joint statement. “With more than 100 local artisans selling exciting and unique items you won’t find anywhere else, Holiday Hop is going to make this giving season especially merry and bright.”
Food and beverages available for à la carte purchases are found at the open-air Harbor Eats market.

Edible Island Food Fair at the Staten Island Museum (Building A) — 12:00 to 16:00
Museum staff aim to have visitors find their way through a market of local and regional delicacies this holiday season. The fair is filled with specialty items and handcrafted products, a fundraising tradition for the Museum.

Craft Christmas Fair presented by Art Lab (H Building) — 11 am to 4 pm
The effort supports the municipality’s own artisans at the annual Christmas Craft Fair. Vendors display handmade jewelry, artwork, trinkets, knit and crochet items, and more.

The exhibit features handmade art, antiques, books, cards, jewelry, knickknacks, photographs, prints, scarves, soap, and more. There will be live Christmas music at 4 pm

Guests are invited to shop local at Cottage Row Curiosities, a community craft market in Snug Harbor featuring more than 40 Staten Island vendors, plus music, entertainment and food.
Entertainment: DJ Kitty from MakerPark Radio will play a series of catchy and festive tunes. The Staten Island School of Rock Christmas Choir, led by Janine Moises, Ariel Ubaldegaray and Josh Limage, presents pop-up performances throughout the day, featuring the vocal talents of students Anna Mancino, Joseph Picioccio, Adrianna Frendowski, Delilah Cambiero and Daria.
