Nanyang Coffee concept cafe Butter Bean launches limited-time pasta, cakes and cookies this Christmas

Nanyang Coffee concept cafe Butter Bean has introduced new sweet and savory dishes this holiday season.

According to Butter Bean, its new dishes are an inventive take on the “flavors of Nanyang, which is synonymous with the brand.”

This year, foodies can try new festive dishes including Jolly Chicken Parm Pasta, Nuts Over Banana cake, GM Pandan Chiffon cake and BB Gingerbread cookies.

The Jolly Chicken Parm Pasta, is an aglio-olio Pasta style with a Nanyang twist. Patrons can expect Al-dente spaghetti noodles tossed with curry leaves in a tomato and mushroom sauce.

The pasta dish is available in a set with a special drink. The set is priced at $12.70 in stores and $15.20 for delivery.

Those who want to go for something sweet can try the new cakes.

Nuts Over Banana Cake is made with fresh bananas and comes with a buttercream filling. It is also topped with a peanut glaze and chopped almonds.

This pie is available for $3.50 per slice and $25 for a whole pie in stores. Pie delivery is priced at $4.20 per slice and $30 for a whole pie.

Another option is the GM Pandan Chiffon cake which is drizzled with gula melaka syrup and toasted coconut flakes. It also has a custard whipped cream filling.

It is available for $3.50 per serving in stores and $4.20 per serving for delivery. The plain whole pie is also on sale in stores for $16.80.

Customers will receive a 15 percent discount for any full cake order placed before December 14. They can also get a slice of any cake for $3 with any purchase.

Butter Bean has also created BB Gingerbread cookies that are shaped like the brand’s mascot.

The cookies are available for $2.50 a piece and $9 for four pieces in stores. They can also be delivered for $3 a piece and $10.80 for four pieces.

Butter Bean’s French Toasts dessert and toasted drinks are also back for a limited time.

Choco-nana French toast is stuffed with cheese and topped with fresh banana slices and chocolate sauce. The PB & J French Toast will have a Christmas twist at Butter Bean’s best-selling PB & J Toast that’s blended with peanut butter, strawberry jam, and fresh strawberries.

Both are available for $5.50 in stores and $6.60 for delivery.

Customers can also choose to complete their French toast experience with a set menu.

The Warm & Toasty Set ($8.10) comes with a choice of French toast and any regular hot drink, while the Cool & Merry Set ($8.70) comes complete with a choice of a specialty cold drink. PHOTO CREDIT: BUTTER BEAN

The Bbrûlée Cinnamon Kopi and Teh Latte drinks are available as part of the Toast Drink Series. The drinks will feature three layers: fresh milk with cinnamon powder, freshly brewed Nanyang kopi or red tea, and signature salty cream and caramelized brown sugar.

These drinks start at $4.20 for a regular size in stores.

In addition to these drinks, Butter Bean’s Toasty Cinnamon Teh, Toasty Ginger Teh, and Toasty Marsh-Milo have also returned for a limited time.

Those looking to celebrate this festive season with their loved ones in the comfort of their homes can now enjoy four delivery packages that will be up to 25 percent off the regular price.

Butter Bean’s holiday deals are available for dine-in and take-out at its outlets in Funan, Vivo City, and Seletar Mall from now until December 25.
