I tried the Crumbl cookies, so you didn’t have to wait in line. Here’s what you need to know about this new Shreveport fad.
On November 5, a Shreveport family welcomed Crumbl to the area with their grand opening. After a year of securing a location and setting up a store, the exclusive pink boxes turned up on a busy Friday.
“We know it’s been a bit of a wait,” said Brad King, owner and operator of Crumbl. “So, we’re delighted that we’re finally here.”
My experience
On opening day, I decided to try my luck and placed a mobile order at the Youree Drive location. When I arrived, the store was packed with workers who greeted me and quickly directed me to the pickup location.
When I said my name, it was like magic, the pink box appeared and was immediately placed in my hand. I could feel the warmth of the cookie radiating through the box.
For my big taste test, I ordered the cornbread honey cake. This 6 oz. cookie featured a recipe inspired by grainy cornbread, but it was topped with cream cheese frosting and a little honey.
This cookie turned out to be over 700 calories and offered a sweet treat for days.

It was worth it?
The cornbread honey cake cookie was worth the $4.38. Since that trip, I have explored many different flavors and I can assure you that the wait was well worth it.

But don’t get too comfortable with a specific flavor. The menu is constantly changing every week. The only cookie that remains constant is the chocolate chip.
If you are interested in sampling the weekly menu, customers can choose boxes of four or six. The box of four cookies is $14.28 and the box of six is $21.98.
