If there is one thing we are sure of, it is that we will never have enough Italian or mozzarella in our lives. This is a given, completely non-negotiable, and as far as we’re concerned, Kate Moss got it wrong because pizza, pasta, and cheese taste. way better than skinny feels. So we’re all ears when we hear that a new legit Italian venue has opened, our bellies are already rumbling. Take heart, fellow carb loaders, because Southport’s Mozza Mozza has unleashed its cheesy Eastern European goodness and it’s Prosecco’nd to none!

Located inside our beloved Southport Sharks where Carmody (RIP) once lived, be prepared for anything from the table cheese wheels and tiramisu a wood-fired oven-baked mozzarella pizzas, fried mortadella sandos and negroni granitas (ok hello)… and that’s just the digestible variety. Throw in an award-winning head chef’s hat and a side of disco and it’s official: we’ve discovered the real thing.

We’ve been told to expect a bit of theater with our food and we can’t express how much we love this for ourselves. Plus, rumor has it that there will be 80s music and disco blasting from the stereo, and nothing says happiness like a side of Prince with our prosciutto or Abba with our arancini.

But Mozza Mozza not only brings joy through its menu and music, but also through its majestic four-meter-tall olive tree. Standing loud and proud, front and center of the space, he is quite the sight creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and packing a huge wow factor punch.
