Delhi Winter’s will taste better with these new menus

Delhi winters conjure up images of soft sunshine, fluffy hoodies, cozy mittens and glamorous thigh-high boots, and all the beautiful cafes and restaurants are ready to give everyone a taste of the range of flavors ranging from everything Indian to Vietnamese and some quirky modern flavours.

It is a time of good appetites and this festive time, to celebrate good weather and good times. A “good time” is never complete without stellar food and unique cocktails, so Klap did just that, Chef Gurmehar Sethi crafting a menu that is not only seasonally perfect but perfect for celebrations as well.

Start your meal with a special seasonal grapefruit salad and they added an extra touch of the tropics with coconut flakes, strawberries and a tart tamarind dressing. Move on to a soulful dish, their classic Lucknowi Haleem served with cracker roti that will take you straight to the land of Nawabs. A big part of our city’s seasonal bounty is leafy greens, so don’t miss our take on a classic Punjabi Winter Saag, greens gently wrapped around slow-cooked chicken and served with delicious mini naans of Garlic. For vegetarians, there is Andhra Cottage Cheese served with Malabar rotis. Figs are the delight of the season and perfectly complement our Belgian Pork Belly, try the Belgian Pork Belly Flatbread with figs and caramelized onions for an ideal pairing with some cocktails. The vegetarian version of the flatbread is the Al Funghi, served with a divine jalapeño pesto.

Accompany your meal with the new selection of winter cocktails. The Asian Toddy, a delicious combination of tequila, blueberries, lemongrass, kaffir lime and secret spices for the awakening soul, made with whiskey, tea-made spices and jaggery or the pe-pone that has whiskey, half and half, butternut squash the house syrup along with chips. Since rum works just as well to make a winter night super cozy, they also have Magma, a rich blend of rum, mandarin orange, apple juice, and aromatic bitters.

Chef Dhruv has turned his magic once again with a menu inspired by the cuisine of the Mediterranean belt and the classics of the Euro. But he makes it all the more special by the ingredients that go into cooking this international affair in olive. Of course with convenience in mind with the right amount of flavor and tasteful concoctions. Some examples are:

Amla salad with ten leaves from tiara farm served with fresh sour cheese from a Pune shop, pistachio and poppy seed granola, and the dressing is made from aam-aada (mango and ginger from the Bengal belt of Orissa)

Classic soufflé made with zarai cheese from the daruma farm located in the Himalayas, served with jamun jam and hazelnuts from Ladakh.

Local burrata served with leg-forced sea buckthorn berries and cooked beetroot jam with Nigella seeds and lotus root crisps.

Passion Lemon Cheesecake made with fresh passion fruit sourced from the nilgiri forest belt located in South India and Bengali gondhoraj lime is added for full flavor.

SOCIAL, the country’s favorite urban hangout, has unveiled its take on an edgy winter menu. The menu has started with hot and muddy Nepali soupy momos, a healthy non-Chinese dish with spring rolls, momos, honey chilli fries and Chinese bhel and Tandoori sausage dish. Feast on Daddu’s Chicken Wings or SOCIAL Seafood Platter with Fried Fish, Popcorn Prawns, Sabudana Seafood Vadas and Tandoori Fish Tikka. The xxx-Mas is a dish you don’t want to miss! Fried rice with chorizo ​​and blueberries with sex sauce.

Finish your meal on a sweet note with the sticky caramel Christmas toffee pudding. This festive menu pairs perfectly with a limited-edition Mulled Wine LLIIT and XMas Shot. There is something for everyone!

Music and Mountains in Delhi is here to warm your winter with its new menu, packed with hearty ingredients, farm-fresh vegetables, and a “cocktail program” that’s perfectly suited to the weather. The wine list includes the best of Italy, Spain, South Africa and Germany, along with Merlot from Chile, Malbec from Argentina and Bordeaux from France. On the other hand, the food menu features a special soup that is prepared with Uttarakhand apples, radish and celery, topped with caramelized apples and Spanish chorizo. Warm up with a rich kale and chickpea soup or opt for a comforting red squash and white bean stew with fresh bay leaves.

There’s also pepper-sautéed strawberry salad, prosciutto and burrata to try before a meal of vinegar-fried pork chops or sweet potato goat cheese gnocchi. If you love breakfast as much as we do, go for banana toffee crepes, crepes topped with caramelized bananas, along with homemade caramel sauce, whipped cream, ice cream, and cookie crumbs. If you’re not in the mood for something sweet, try the crispy fried chicken and waffle. Complete your meal with strawberry rosemary filled cream cake and a cup of Chikmagalur coffee.

The ‘cocktail show’ flaunts red wine, shiraz, Tennessee whiskey, apple brandy and Sauvignon Blanc. Scottish cocktails are infused with Italian amaros. The most distinctive cocktails on the new winter menu feature a new flavor profile: salty. Introducing Moon River, a cocktail made with Parmesan-infused gin and dry vermouth, served with a house-made Parmesan cookie. Then there’s ‘Tainted Love’, a cocktail made with clarified tomato bush, vodka and dry tonic garnished with a perfect bite of dried tomatoes, green olives and cheddar cheese.

Chatter House is ready with its new menu of non-syrup cocktails featuring house-made liqueurs, cordials and essences, using natural ingredients. The winter menu offers – Malinae Mulled Wine: Spanish red wine infused with Morpheus, cloves, cinnamon and spices served with cubeb berries, pears and orange peel, House of tudor: Gin infused with raspberry and a perfect blend of saccharum lime , homemade orange marmalade and sparkling egg white/aquafaba, pois papilon: a perfect balance of gin with kaffir lime liqueur; topped with tonic water, soda; along with other unique blends: Raesme squeak, One61 and Apple cider toddy.

Ivory Cocktail Garden

From cross-border culinary experiences to craft cocktails. Located at Panchshila Park, Malviya Nagar, Ivoryy has unveiled its new menu consisting of a variety of craft cocktails like Mulled Wine, Eggnog, Hot Punch and Hot Buttered Rum which are warm and ultra-cosy, best for winters. The concoctions are prepared with spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, black pepper, ginger, honey, and fruits such as dates.

The kitchen menu pays homage to the diverse cultures of the region with a wonderful mix of Mediterranean, European and Asian specialities. It’s a selection of nutritious and delicious foods to enjoy this winter: Goat Cheese Dolma, Berkshire Chicken Bao, Kaho Mak Gai, Kanafeh Jaffar and Burnt Babka.

While the non-vegetarian menu is priced at INR 1900/- for two people, the vegetarian menu is priced at INR 1700/- for two people and is perfect for a special celebratory evening with your loved ones at Tea Garden, Andaz Delhi. It’s time to treat your taste buds to delicious North Indian delicacies, which have been winter staples for years. The new Dilli Ki Sardi menu is a limited edition winter menu.

Dilli ki Sardi Dhaba menu has been using special ingredients like sesame seeds (Till), sarson (mustard) etc all winter long. and all the dishes are cooked in a pure and authentic way; like your Dadi or Nani does at home. None of the dishes are overcooked so that the vegetables retain their nutritional value.

North India is known to thrive on seasonal greens like sarson (mustard), fenugreek (methi), spinach (palak), radish (mooli), winter carrots etc. and Dhaba is back with traditional winter dishes like Sarson ka Saag served with Makki. ki Roti with fresh white butter and jaggery, Til Wali Murgh ki Chaap, Kasundi Fish Tikka, Methi Malai Paneer Tikka and Gajar Ka Halwa which are perfect for the weather.
