Nov. 23 at Lewis County Mall, 151 NE Hampe Way, Chehalis; five pm

The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce is partnering with local businesses to give customers coupons, promotional items and other surprises. There will be a sign indicating where participants should line up in their cars at the Lewis County Mall.

The public is invited to join Immanuel Lutheran Church for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Transportation is provided. Call 360-736-9270 for pickup information. Free sweet bread loaves are available while supplies last.

Riverside Fire Authority Fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

November 25 at Centralia Outlets, 1342 Lum Road, Centralia; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The local firefighter stairclimb team will be asking for donations towards their fundraising goals for the 2023 Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Centralia Tree Lighting

November 25 at George Washington Park in Centralia; 18:00

Centralia will hold its 2022 tree lighting ceremony.

Shop at the small two-day market

November 26 and 27 at Jester Auto Museum, 321 Hamilton Road, Chehalis; November 26: 10 am to 4 pm and November 27: 10 am to 3 pm

Santa will be on hand so families can take their own free photos with him from 11 am to 3 pm on November 26 and from 11 am to 2 pm on November 27. More than 40 vendors will be present. Parking and admission are free.

Newaukum Golf Course Weekly Bingo

The Shed Christmas Market

December 1, 2 and 3 at The Shed, 516 Spooner Road, Chehalis

The Christmas market will be from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, December 1; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, December 2; and from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, December 3. To get to The Shed, take exit 77 off Interstate 5 and head west on State Route 6 for approximately 7 miles before turning right onto Spooner Road and follow the signs for The Shed.

Mossyrock Garden Club Look-A-Rama 2022

December 2 and 3 at Mossyrock Grange Hall, 152 Isbell Road, Mossyrock

The event will take place from 8:30 am to 5 pm on Friday, December 2 and from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, December 3. The event will feature toys, crafts, poinsettias, candy and baked goods, custom wreaths, garlands and arrangements, a silent auction and a raffle. Lunch will be served on both days. Free cake and coffee will be available. Proceeds go towards the Mossyrock High School Scholarship Program.

Boistfort Walk N’ Knock Lions Club

December 3 at Boistfort; 10 a.m.

Friends of the Chehalis Library Annual Book Sale

December 3 at the Vernetta Smith Timberland Library, 400 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Friends of the Chehalis Library is hosting their annual book sale after the Santa Parade. There will be books of all genres and for all ages. All proceeds from this sale are given to the library and fund programs throughout the year. Specially designed, high-quality cloth book bags will also be on sale.

Westminster Bells Choir Christmas Celebration

Dec. 3-4 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 349 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis and Harrison Square Presbyterian Church, 1227 Harrison Ave., Centralia.

The Westminster Bells will perform a concert. This is the 34th season that the Westminster Bells have performed concerts, and the first since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Concerts will be Saturday, December 3 at 7 pm and Sunday, December 4 at 3 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Chehalis and Sunday, December 4 at 7 pm at Harrison Square Presbyterian Church in Centralia.

This is a free introductory Tai Ji Quan class. The class will focus on eight forms of the Tai Ji Quan program that will help develop core muscles to promote balance. The program helps people get up from a chair more easily, shift their balance from one foot to the other, and step back with ease.

Chamber Orchestra of the Pacific Northwest

December 5 at the Corbet Theatre, 600 Centralia College Blvd., Centralia; 7:00 p.m.

This is a free event. The concert will feature themes from movies like “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Polar Express” and “Jurassic Park.” There will also be traditional Christmas music. The Westminster Bells will also play.

Breakfast will have scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, fruit cups, juice, and coffee. The cost of admission is $6 for all ages. Kids’ meals include a bag of goodies, a visit with Santa, and a make-and-go craft.

Make the Yuletide Gay Community Celebration

December 11 at McFilers Chehalis Theatre, 558 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hosted by Sophia Zha Ji Sinclair, the event will include live performances. Holiday sweaters are encouraged. There will be free bingo with prizes from the community. The endless brunch is $20 with the first drink included.

Cascade Community Healthcare Legislative and Government Forum

December 14th; 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Local social service agencies serving Lewis County in mental health, substance use, and housing will have the opportunity to address a panel comprised of legislators from the 19th and 20th Legislative Districts and local government officials. Agencies will have time to brief panelists on their work and the need for their continued support. The forum is open to the public. The event will be in person and streamed on multiple platforms.

Southwest Washington Dance 25th Anniversary Nutcracker

December 15, 16, 17 and 18 at the Corbet Theatre, 600 Centralia College Blvd., Centralia

The Nutcracker will be presented at Centralia College’s Corbet Theater on Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 pm; Friday, December 16 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, December 17 at 2 and 7:30 pm; and Sunday, December 18 at 1 and 5:30 pm Tickets are $24 for adults and $16 for children, seniors and military. Tickets are available online at www.swwdance.org. After December 11, tickets are also available at the Corbet Theater box office from 2-7pm.
