Lifetime’s latest Christmas movie, sweet Christmas, is all set to premiere this Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 8/7c. With Camila Banus and Mark Hapka in the lead roles, this sweet and romantic film revolves around the popular phrase “opposites attract.”

The film features Camila Banús as Carmen, an affable pastry chef. Wearing the other chef’s hat is Mark Hapka as Jax, a perfectionist to say the least. Sparks fly in the kitchen when the two are forced to work together to create a special Christmas menu.

“Lovely pastry chef Carmen dreams of opening her own Puerto Rican-influenced bakery. When the hotel owner, Víctor Flores, discovers Carmen’s talents, he invites her to apply for a position as pastry chef for her hotel’s Christmas gala. Knowing that other applicants will have culinary school backgrounds, unlike her homegrown skills, Carmen reluctantly applies.”

“When accepted, she is paired with Chef Jax to curate the perfect menu for the holidays. But the two don’t mix well. Carmen is messy and cooks with her heart; Jax is a technique-obsessed perfectionist. As they race against time to put together their intricate holiday menu, sparks fly and they realize they might have more to learn from each other than they initially thought.”
