Albert’s Schloss launches Festive Kebab with Christmas Dinner Classics

As we move into the Christmas month, numerous food and drink establishments in Manchester are introducing shows festive parties which are enough to have us rolling into the new year. Adding to the delicious Christmas specialties is none other than the city’s favorite alpine bar and restaurant, albert palacewith the launch of his own festive kebab and Christmas menu.

There are plenty of Christmas sandwiches on the scene right now in Manchester, but Albert’s Schloss has capped off the festive season with its newly launched kebab. With all the classic Christmas dinner trappings we know and love, but with a little Alpine flair, this kebab includes apricot stuffed turkey with pigs in blankets, salad sprouts, cranberry chutney and appropriate sauceall in one.

Adding to the festive banquets is Albert’s Schloss’ bavarian party that’s great for these bitterly cold months to share between four and consists of roasted pork knuckle, chicken schnitzel, bratwurst, kaiserwurst, honey roasted pork belly and sformato, braised red cabbage, seasonal vegetables, rainbow sauerkraut and bier jus The Manchester bar has also presented its christmas menuwhich includes haus pretzels with sweet mustard and gherkins on arrival, followed by starters of prawn cocktail, hummus and flatbread, French onion soup, mini sausages or chicken liver pate.

The main event options include schweinshaxe (crispy roasted pork knuckle, seasoned with juniper, caraway, fennel, black pepper, rich sauce, red cabbage, applesauce); Cheshire Roast Turkey with apricot filling and all the garnishes; roast bread Bass; home cooking cheeseburger (vegan option available); mushroom spaetzle; either winter strudel stuffed with pumpkin, spinach and cannellini beans. And it’s not Albert’s Schloss without some alpine desserts. Choose from likes of chocolate roulade with kirsch-dipped cherries and vanilla ice cream for Black Forest cake vibes or Albert’s apple strudel consisting of caramelized apple pie, applesauce, and spiced raisins , filo pastry and vanilla sauce.

Also, for larger groups celebrating this Christmas, Albert’s Schloss has launched a smorgasbord which includes haus pretzels; hummus and flatbreads; sausages and pates; alpine cheeses; Kreuzberg chicken; paprika sausage rolls; authentic German sausage; roasted spiced pumpkin paprikash; paprika prawns; and roasted cereal and vegetable salad. You can even add a wheel of baked Camembert with honey and thyme, sweet salted chocolate caramel prezeltinis, and a schnapps lollipop for good measure.
