If you’ve embraced the vegan lifestyle, then you know how difficult it can be to find delicious dishes around the holidays. Unless you’re putting together a Thanksgiving feast yourself, navigating the menu during gatherings with your friends and family can be quite tricky. Will there be food for you? Is your family going to give much importance to your diet? Are people going to like the dish you make and bring? Luckily, I’ve rounded up some of the easiest (and tastiest) vegan meals you can make this holiday season!
Whether you’re a new vegan, a seasoned veteran, or just looking for some new inspiration for your holiday dishes this year, this festive vegan menu is exactly what you need. As a vegan for three years, I’ve compiled some of my favorite tried-and-true foods over the years in hopes of inspiring other animal lovers to embrace this lifestyle. These eight vegan Christmas dishes are my favorite! Whatever the reason for your vegan tastes this year, you will have a lot of fun creating these recipes. From delicious appetizers to savory desserts (and everything in between), you’ll love these eight dishes.

Replacing the popular charcuterie board this year is the viral food trend, the butter board. And with the holidays fast approaching, every host of a dinner party and bringing a table planner should know how to create a vegan butter table. Luckily, I found the perfect recipe! This delicious board is “creamy, sweet, salty, and bursting with herbal flavors,” according to the recipe’s creator, and I wholeheartedly agree! For my board, I followed the directions using my favorite Trader Joe’s Vegan Butter Spread. After spreading the vegan butter, I chose to go in a spicier, more flavorful direction: topping the board with roasted garlic, fresh parsley, thyme, and spicy syrup. You can use any vegan bread, but this creator recommends toasting Trader Joe’s Vegan Brioche Bread (obvi). This is such a quick and easy vegan appetizer that you can whip up for your next holiday gathering!
- Roasted Pumpkin Soup

If you’re looking for a vegan dish that encapsulates the fall feeling, consider making this Roasted Butternut Squash Soup Recipe! Whether you’re heading home for the holidays or hosting your first Thanksgiving, your guests will love this delicious and creamy dish. It’s a beautiful blend of roasted butternut squash, coconut milk, and flavorful aromatic spices, and if you’re traveling to your holiday gathering, this soup is perfect to make ahead of time.
- miniature apple tarts
-
Use the apples you picked this fall with these vegan mini apple pies! These mini pies come with a sweet cinnamon apple filling and chopped apples of your choice. It only takes 30 minutes to make this dessert, and these mini cakes are a great (and much easier) alternative to a traditional slice of the pie or cake you’d normally see on the table!
- Baked Cauliflower Macaroni and Cheese
-
Looking for a comfort food to prepare this holiday? This is your plate! Whoever you are making these vegan mac and cheese for is sure to fall in love with this recipe. It takes about 40 minutes to make, tastes amazing, and is definitely healthier than your typical holiday mac and cheese. You will need a few vegetables to prepare this dish: onions, garlic, cauliflower, and vegetable broth are the base of this recipe. And don’t worry, bestie, it tastes even more delicious than the mac and cheese you’re used to! Trust me.
- Tofu Vegetable Noodle Soup
-
If you know me, then you know that I prefer my mother’s pho and egg rolls to the traditional turkey and stuffing any day. This year, I plan to make an easier vegan version of my mom’s soup! So if you’re looking to incorporate a non-traditional dish into your holiday dinner, try this Tofu Noodle Curry Soup from Gathered Nutrition. It’s the coziest dish you can make this season, and it’s definitely one of my favorite winter recipes. It’s super easy to make and the creamy curry flavor is amazing!
- Roasted Autumn Leaf Vegetables with Tahini Sauce
-
This is a super simple recipe, but man, is it? delicious! These one-pan roasted veggies are tossed with some of everyone’s favorite fall items like sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, bell peppers, and red onion (yum). The star of this dish, however, is the deliciously spicy tahini sauce. Trust me, after trying it, you will want to put it on literally everything! You can add your own seasonal vegetables to make this dish your own, but I think this recipe from Gathered Nutrition is perfect as-is!
- Cinnamon Roll Bread
-
You know this recipe is going to be amazing when FoodTok’s vegan best friend Halle Burns is making it. Like Burns, I didn’t think I could make bread from scratch myself, let alone create a delicious dessert with it. This holiday, you can recreate Burns’ Cinnamon Bun with her easy recipe! This dessert is a fluffy mix of your favorite fall flavor (cinnamon, obviously) and it tastes even better than it looks! Definitely make this dish if you’re in charge of dessert this year. I’m sure everyone will love it!
- Spinach and artichoke dip
-
Say hello to your new favorite vegan dip! If you don’t already know, I’m a huge fan of Gathered Nutrition’s creative recipes. When you serve this classic dish at your next holiday party, it’s sure to be a hit! The texture and flavor of this vegan dip is absolutely perfect, and it is so easy to do. It’s simple, creamy and oh so good! The base of the “cheese” sauce is cashews, so be sure to check for nut allergies when making it for your guests!
